"The History of the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown"

Description

Members of the IVH leadership team are excited to present the history of the facility linked with Marshalltown. Construction of the facility - first known as the Iowa Soldiers Home -  was completed in 1887. The first resident was Civil War veteran Amos Fox. Currently IVH is home to approximately 400 residents. 

Pricing

None. The event is free-of-charge and open to the public. Malloy Hall and other buildings on campus are handicap accessible. Parking is available in numerous lots throughout the campus.
