Ridiculous Day

Ridiculous Day is our beloved summer block party celebrating families, fun, and all things local in downtown Marshalltown. The day is filled with sidewalk sales, playful deals, hands-on activities for kids, music, and plenty of reasons to spend the day downtown together.

Families can enjoy a full kids activity block, explore the First Responders Block, grab a bite from food trucks, and browse vendors while supporting local small businesses. It’s a lively, feel-good event that brings neighbors, visitors, and the community together for a day of fun, connection, and shopping local.

Ridiculous Day takes place on Main Street between 1st Avenue and 2nd Street.
