The Marshalltown Public Library and IowaWORKS have partnered to bring career planning to the library. 

The IowaWORKS office in Marshalltown has teamed up with the library to bring career and workforce development services to the community. On the third Tuesday of each month, a career planner from IowaWORKS will be available at the library from 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 3pm on August 19th. 

Services that the career planner will provide include IowaWORKS account setup/management, 1-on-1 appointments, career planning, resume development, mock interviews, workshops, skill-based training, NCRC testing, job development, referrals to partner programs and answering unemployment questions.
