50th Anniversary of the Martha-Ellen Tye Foundation & Grand Reopening of the Martha-Ellen Tye Playhouse. Come celebrate the legacy and impact of Martha-Ellen Tye in Marshalltown. The event includes a special performance by Marshalltown Community Theatre of Acts I and IV from Robert Anderson’s four act play YOU KNOW I CAN’T HEAR YOU WHEN THE WATER’s RUNNING, the inaugural play performed on opening night of the playhouse May 9, 1969. Limited seats available. 

Tickets are required for admission and have been purchased by the foundation with proceeds going to Marshalltown Community Theatre. Tickets available at Lowe’s Flowers and the MACC starting on October 1st .
